The Southeast District Track & Field Championship at Washington Court House came down to a razor-close finish with Zane Trace and Minford Boys sharing the team title just ahead of Washington’s Blue Lions, while McClain Girls edged Circleville for that title.
The Boys Meet came down to the final event of the day to decide the winners. Going into the 4×400 Relay, Minford held an 80-72 lead over Zane Trace. The Pioneers took second in the relay with Minford placing ninth, allowing Zane Trace to slide into the co-championship with the Falcons. Washington was a close runner-up with 78 points with Unioto fourth at 72 points.
