The City of Chillicothe looks to expand the existing charging station in the municipal parking lot on East Water Street.
City Council President Bruce Arnold assigned a request for legislation to appropriate $144,000 to install two electric vehicle charging stations with $125,000 pre-approved reimbursement from American Electric Power once the installation is approved.
Arnold tells Litter Media the two new stations “are bigger and charge much faster. 30 minutes versus eight hours.”
