Fairfield County Health Advisory Council Schedules March Meeting

(Lancaster) – The Fairfield County General Health District Advisory Council will meet on March 29th at 7pm at the Fairfield County Records Center, 138 West Chestnut Street, Lancaster.

Ohio Revised Code Section 3709.03: A council shall consist of the president of the board of county commissioners, the chief executive of each municipal corporation not constituting a city health district, and the chairperson of the board of township trustees of each township.

Approval of the 2022 DAC meeting minutes
Appointment of the 2023 DAC President, Vice President, and Secretary
Appointment of Board of Health Members
Report from the Fairfield County Health Commissioner
2024 Budget and City public health services contract

A representative of the County Prosecutor’s office will be present to discuss nuisance enforcement procedures.

Board of Health member Tina Childers’ term ends in March of 2023. She has expressed interest in continuing to serve on the board.

Board of Health Member David Petty passed away in November of 2022. The DAC will appoint someone to fill the remainder of his term, ending in March 2024.

If a quorum of the District Advisory Council is not present for the meeting, an executive committee will be formed for the purpose of appointing members of the board of health and approving public health services contracts.
