Heirloom Plant Sale & Skip Into Art Dates Set for Adena Manison & Gardens

(Chillicothe) – Adena Mansion and Gardens’ Annual Heirloom Plant Sale is here once again. The sale focuses on heirloom plants that are varieties raised and passed on before the advent of industrial farming. Many plants go back at least as far as Worthington’s time, with varieties of flowers, tomatoes, vegetables, and herbs will be on sale.

This year’s sale will begin on Saturday, May 4, and run until Sunday, May 19. Hours will be Wednesdays through Saturdays from 9 am-5 pm, Sundays from noon-5 pm, and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Join Steve Patrick as they continue to honor Skip Hathaway and her love of art with Skip into Art. This art class is for children ages five and up, and children must have a parent or chaperone with them.

Admission to this event is free, and art supplies will be provided. Skip into Art will be on Saturday, May 4, at noon.
