(Huntington Twp) – The Huntington Township Fire Department is currently accepting applications for employment from both single & dual carded Firefighter &/or EMT, Advanced EMT, and Paramedic.
These positions will be used to supplement their current full/part time staffing positions. They currently staff the station 24/7 with 3 on duty from 7am-7pm and 2 on duty overnight from 7pm-7am.
In 2021, Huntington Township Fire Department responded to over 1200 calls for service.
“We offer both 12 & 24 hour shifts. Pay is based on certification level, with single card EMS ranging from $13.49-$14.79. FF-II pay is $12.65.”, according to department leadership’s Facebook site. “American Rescue Plan funding pays part of these wages.”
