The Ironton Fighting Tigers and Eastern Brown Lady Warriors claimed the Boys and Girls Division 2 District Bowling team championships Monday at Chillicothe’s Shawnee Lanes. Both teams now move on to the OHSAA State Tournaments.
Zane Trace Boys and Westfall Girls were runner-up, failing to qualify for state tournament play.
The individual bowlers not on the district champion team to qualify for state tournament play are Jake Ward of Whiteoak and Briana Reynolds of Rock Hill.
