J216 Ministry Seeks Community Help For Food Assistance To The Areas Needy

Article Presented By Horizon Connects…

J216 Ministry is seeking businesses and other groups and individuals to partner with them to help provide food for struggling people in the community.

With high inflation, J216 officials say they need help to “lighten the burden of rising food prices, gas and diesel to help us continue to get food into the homes of families in need during these difficult times.” In a press release, they added- “At this time we strictly run off of donations and have been in existence since 2018 and recently has been approved as a non-profit 501(c) 3 charity.”

During the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic, J216 says they served 1,000 households per week. Currently, they are serving/delivering 600 households per week in 18 different counties. “That number is on the rise again as we are entering the winter months and the holiday season, according to the J216 release.”

J216 officials remind those considering a donation and or partnership, that all donations are tax deductions, and a tax identification number can be provided to you upon request.

Any questions concerning a donation and or partnership can be directed to J216 Ministry by calling (740) 703-2216.
