Massie Crowned 2023 Miss Feast of the Flowering Moon

Emma Massie (Unioto/PRCTC) was crowned Miss Feast of the Flowering Moon Friday night during the opening of the 40^th annual festival.

The court for 2023 includes Carly Lake (Chillicothe) as 1^st Attendant, Leah Parker (Waverly) 2^nd Attendant, Ava Lowery (Huntington) 3^rd Attendant and Sydney Bush (Unioto) 4^th Attendant. The ladies will preside over the festival through Sunday. Following the Feast of the Flowering Moon, Massie, Lake and Parker will travel to other festivals across Ohio as ambassadors.

The pageant was held May 20^th at The Majestic Theatre. From the pageant, additional prizes were awarded: Massie received a $100 scholarship from Best Dress Boutique for her interview and a gift card from Praises Book Store for Most Photogenic. Parker received a $25 gift card from Q-Nails as the Speech Winner and a $100 scholarship from Free Spirits Boutique as the Evening Gown Winner. Lowery received a $25 gift card from Los Mariachis as the Most Creative Fun Fashion Winner.
