The Miami Trace Panthers assured themselves a repeat as Frontier Athletic Conference volleyball champions Tuesday with a three set sweep of Jackson (25-21, 25-20, 25-18).
Addyson Butts led the Panthers with 16 kills with Lauren Farrens adding 6. Kylie Yeazel dished out 27 assists, and Sydney Carter has 16 digs.
Miami Trace has one more FAC match to play (9-0), but their two match lead over Chillicothe guarantees them the conference title. The Panthers overall record following Tuesday’s win improves to (15-3), with tournament pairings ahead this weekend.
