(Chillicothe) – The Paint Valley Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health (ADAMH) Services Board has selected a mother and son to share their inspiring journey to recovery from mental illness as keynote speakers at the Fifth Annual Recovery Celebration in September.

Evan Curtin, a board member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Clark, Greene, and Madison counties, will share his incredible story of triumph achieved with the support of his family and his own determination. Evan and his mother Peg Stephens travel to speaking engagements together in an effort to promote positive mental health, educate others on the importance of ending the stigma of mental illness, and to provide hope to others in the midst of their own recovery journeys.
