(Portsmouth) – There is a new name and logo for the organization that promotes the City of Portsmouth and Scioto County.
“From this point forward, we will be known as Scioto County Visitors Bureau to encompass the identity that we serve more than just Portsmouth. While we understand that Portsmouth is the central hub of our brand, we know that the outlying communities should also be part of our identity. Therefore, we will be sure to serve both as equally as we can.”
A release on their social media site adds that there will be more changes forthcoming in the future. These include the development of a new website, collaboration with community organizations both in and out of Scioto County, collaboration with other tourism agencies across the Appalachian region and beyond, and of course collaboration and communication with our community members and residents across Scioto County.
