New Visitors Guides Available at RCCVB

(Chillicothe) – The Ross-Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau has completed its newest edition of the official Ross County Visitors Guide. This edition of the guide celebrates the special milestones such as “Tecumseh!Outdoor Drama’s fiftieth season, preparing for World Heritage designation of the Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks in 2023, and by incorporating the Bureau’s smartphone app.

The Visitors Guide is one of the most utilized form of marketing to visitors in addition to the Bureau’s website. Sixty-thousand copies of the guide are distributed through a variety of channels during its two-year cycle to ensure that Chillicothe/Ross County continues to stay competitive in the tourism industry. Some of the distribution outlets include being featured in select Travel Information Centers around the State of Ohio, given to potential visitors during travel shows, and by fulfilling visitor requests for more information.

“Each edition of the Visitors Guide continues to evolve,” stated Melody Young, Executive Director of the Ross-Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau. “This guide showcases the unique experiences that visitors will find in Chillicothe, and throughout Ross County, through rich, vibrant images and fun, informative content.”

The newest edition will begin to circulate this week in Ross County at local attractions, lodging facilities, select locations throughout the county, and at the Bureau’s office located at 230 N. Plaza Blvd. A digital version is available on the Bureau’s website along with links to download the official Visit Chillicothe Ohio mobile app.
