Ohio Statehood Day Breakfast Set for March 2nd in Chillicothe

(Chillicothe) – The Kiwanis Club of Chillicothe along with the Ross County Ministerial Association are hosting the Annual Statehood Day Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the First Presbyterian Church, 13 Mead Drive, Chillicothe, Ohio. Doors open at 8am, Breakfast begins at 8:30am and the program starts sharply at 9am. The Keynote Speaker this year will be Chillicothe Mayor, Luke Feeney.

Each year Chillicothe Kiwanis Club recognizes an outstanding area resident that best represents the “SPIRIT OF OHIO”. The citizen is someone who has advanced the ideals of the brotherhood of mankind, community service endeavors, love of family and youth, concern for the beauty of the region and spiritual growth of the soul. The committee considers the nominee’s contributions to society, accomplishments of the nominee in his or her field of endeavor, and overall accomplishments. The Ministerial Association will have local ministers to pray for our city, state, and country.

The Breakfast Buffet will be catered by the Pour House at Machinery Hall serving.

The cost is $15 per person.  You may get your tickets from a local Kiwanian, The Ministerial Association, or the Ross-Chillicothe Convention and Visitor’s Bureau at 230 N. Plaza Blvd, Chillicothe.
