(Waverly) — Due to the ever-changing weather forecast for tomorrow, the Community Action Committee of Pike County’s Trunk-or-Treat event is being moved indoors at the event location on Market Street (Pike Hill) to provide a safe, dry atmosphere for all who are planning to attend.

Moving the event inside will allow for event partners to have tables throughout the building to allow for a smooth, orderly flow of foot traffic and safe social distancing. Face coverings are required to prevent the spread of COVID-19 for all event partners and guests.

“To ensure that everyone can enjoy this event with the uncertainty of the weather, we felt that it would be best that we move the event indoors,” stated Keith Pitts, Executive Director of the Community Action Committee of Pike County.

We are asking that all guests that plan on attending the event enter the building through the OhioMeansJobs Career Center doors and exit through the front doors of the building into the parking lot area.

The Community Trunk-or-Treat will be held at the Community Action Committee of Pike County’s main location at 941 Market Street in Piketon on Thursday, October 28th from 5pm-6:30pm.
