Every three years, the Ross County Health District polls residents on status of their health. The 2022 Community Health Assessment is underway.
The 2019 Health Assessment revealed Ross Countians were ranked among the least healthy counties in Ohio, between 0%-25%.
Nearly a quarter of Ross County Adults are smokers and 32% are obese, four percent higher than those statewide. Despite 71% respondents said they had access to exercise equipment, while 34% reported being physically inactive.
