Rock For Tots Raises Nearly $50,000

Rock For Tots, Inc. announced its tally from the 2022 benefit concert and auction. This year’s event held at Chillicothe’s Majestic Theatre last Friday raised $49,343.68 according to organizer Paul Pollard.

While the total didn’t break a record, Pollard told Litter Media the number is “close to the top”.

“We are thankful to still be relevant and to be able to support all these fine Children’s organizations” Pollard said.

Each Rock For Tots, Inc. donates funds raised to thirty-five Scioto Valley area organizations and agencies which serve children. They also fund scholarships and have an endowment fund.

Pollard expressed his gratitude to the many who make Rock For Tots an annual event, now completing its 38th year.

“We would be nowhere at all if it wasn’t for our wonderful sponsors, donors and bands” said Pollard. “And the tremendous support of the community that comes out every year. We are so appreciative of everyone.”

The night included performances by SoHi, The Wegians, 7 Mile Bluegrass, Ben True and the Basement Collective, Good N Stout, Stateside Red and American Idol finalist Murphy.
