(Chillicothe) – The Ross Soil and Water Conservation District announces the final days to place an order for their annual fish sale. The last day to order is April 24, 2023. Residents can shop online at www.rosscountyswcd.org or contact the district office for an order form.

The Ross Soil and Water Conservation District supports property owners’ efforts to maintain a healthy pond and has been offering fish for pond stocking at near wholesale prices for over 65 years. The district can also provide technical advice for pond management and new pond construction.
Fish offered for sale include largemouth bass, bluegill, hybrid bluegill, channel catfish, redear sunfish (shellcracker), perch, and fathead minnow. Also for sale are Japanese koi and white amur. Koi are attractive and popular in backyard ponds. Both koi and amurs can control unwanted vegetation in a pond.
