Last year with the help of volunteers United Way of Ross County’s VITA tax program helped secured $1.9 million dollars in federal tax returns for clients.
United Way of Ross County is also asking other local entities to pass the word about the program.
School districts are asked to send out via their classroom apps, and social media. Churches are requested to post on their social media and bulletin boards/newsletters.
The VITA Program is also looking for volunteers. Volunteer training will start the week of December 12th for those who are interested.
