Westfall’s Weiss All Ohio With Lady Mustangs 7th in D-2 Girls State Golf Tourney

Westfall’s Paige Weiss fired a second round 76 Saturday to earn First Team All Ohio in the Division 2 Girls State Golf Tournament, placing fourth in the two day tournament. That improved upon her 77 shot on Friday, moving up three positions for her fourth place finish.

Her Lady Mustangs team placed 7th overall, firing a 372 Saturday, following their 365 on Friday.

In Division 2 Boys Golf, Unioto’s Charlie Lewis finished in 18th place, shooting a 74 on Saturday, following his opening round 83 on Friday. Grant Cline of Logan Elm placed 45th over the two days, shooting rounds of 87 and 89.

Sheridan was 10th in team standings and Wheelersburg 12th.

In Division 3 Boys, Valley’s Cameron Phillips in First Team All Ohio with a fifth place finish, firing rounds of 71 and 82.
