50 Year Law Enforcement Veteran Retires

Pickaway County Sheriff Deputy Dale Gillette has retired with more than 50 years of service. He previously worked for the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, Ohio Attorney General’s Office, US Department of Energy, and Chillicothe Police Department before coming to work for the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office 12 years ago.  

Gillette had been working courthouse security at the Common Pleas Court as well as with the S.A.L.T. (Seniors And Law enforcement Together) Council. 

(Pictured Below) Deputy Gillette received a plaque from Sheriff Matthew O. Hafey as well as a proclamation from Pickaway County Commissioner Gary Scherer for his years of dedicated service.
