Shawnee Lanes was filled with high school bowlers opening the post-season with the Boys D-II Southeast Sectional Tournament.
Lynchburg-Clay took the title by 52 pins, outscoring Fairfield 3657 to 3528. Ironton placed third and Zane Trace fourth to advance to next Monday’s District Tournament, also at Shawnee Lanes.
Just missing the cut were Whiteoak (5th), Unioto (6th) and Westfall (7th).
The Shermans’ Ethan Palmer (549) and Mustangs’ Tristan Sprague (539) qualified for the District tournament as individuals.
The D-II Girls will meet at Shawnee Lanes Tuesday.
