Cleveland Guardians Name Reveal

Three years ago, the Cleveland Indians stopped using Chief Wahoo as its mascot. Then last year the club announced a proposal to change its nickname from Indians to… insert here.

After a reported 11,000 suggested names, the club revealed “Guardians” as the winner. The name was revealed on the team Facebook Page through a slickly produced film narrated by Academy Award winning actor Tom Hanks. Click the image below to see the video.
