D-1 & 3 Regional Track & Field Complete Day 1

Most of the field event finals, and running prelims were completed Wednesday in the Division 3 Regional Track & Field Meet at Southeaster High School.

While a few local athletes advanced to the state meet from Day 1, only Cole Miller of Paint Valley was a regional champ on Day 1, winning the long jump with a leap of 22 feet- 3 inches.
