A three-part training series on best practices for Human Resources to help your organization recruit and hire top talent.

OhioSE and JobsOhio will conduct a three-part virtual training series on best practices for Human Resources to help your organization develop, expand, and implement your recruitment brand in order to attract top talent and retain your current workforce.

Led by industry leaders, this series will increase employers’ opportunity to attract talent, provide an in-depth look on marketing tactics that work, and provide context to niche talent pools to supplement your workforce.

Each session is one hour in length and includes engaging discussion and time for Q&A. Sessions take place on Tuesdays via Zoom Webinar from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Course Schedule:

July 27 | Building Your Recruitment Brand: This first session of the three-part series will introduce the importance of your Recruitment Brand, and explain through company examples why this is important in attracting talent, led by Denise Ball, a Workforce Development Specialist for ToolingU-SME. and Matt Adams and Jennifer Henley of NAS. Are you addressing candidates’ expectations through your current brand? We will also dive into steps you can take to create your brand, and what key assets you should use.

August 3 | Using Your Recruitment Brand to Attract Talent: Learn why it is important to use branding to attract talent and where to find your talent. Greg Dungan from HireBoom! will be our guest speaker to share tools you should be using to leverage your brand and attract the best talent. Greg will discuss how to get the most from paid social ads, digital ads, job boards, tracking and analytics.

August 10 | Tapping into Niche Talent Pools – How Your Recruitment Brand Can Help! Hear directly from experts working to place job seekers from niche talent pools. Learn how to be a Veteran friendly employer, and key marketing tactics to make your recruitment successful, from speaker Jeanne Allen, Director of recruitmilitary.com.

Denise Ball is a Workforce Development Specialist for ToolingU-SME. Her personal experience in manufacturing equipped her to implement world class practices in workforce development and facilitate workshops across the country on the current trends and best practices in attraction and retention.

Matt Adam serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Talent Strategist for NAS. Having spent 20 years as a recruitment strategy consultant for a diverse client roster, Matt has worked with a wide variety of organizations to develop effective recruitment marketing strategies that define and shape an organization’s recruiting efforts in today’s interactive marketplace. He is a featured speaker at various organizations including SHRM, CUPA and NAHCR.

Jennifer Henley is a trusted authority in recruitment solutions and consultative client services. As a candidate experience advisor with NAS, she partners with talent acquisition leadership to optimize candidate attraction through storytelling, technology and strategy.
