(Greenfield) – Starting the first week of May and going thru the end of September 2024, the Greenfield Police Department would like to help their community in a different way.
Officers are offering free lawn care bi-weekly (depending on how many lawns they have), for senior citizens and disabled veterans.
This will be done on the officers’ own time and with their personal equipment and fuel.
The only thing they ask is that the lawns are that of the property owner, live within Greenfield village limits and sign a waiver of liability.
You are welcome to call or text (740) 895-0790. Please leave a message if it is before 4pm. The officer will call you back.
Please call only this number, not the department number, so lines are not tied up.
