Hoops and Schobelock Lead Unioto to Victory Over Mustangs

Blake Hoops and Zeke Schobelock of Unioto both had 13 points in Friday night’s 53-45 victory over the Westfall Mustangs.
The game began with the two teams trading scores, until a technical foul with 2:26 left in the first quarter allowed Brody Clark to give the Mustangs a 12-10 lead over the Shermans. This was the only lead that Westfall had in the game, and trailed 19-12 at the end of the first quarter.
During the second quarter Unioto went on a 10-2 run, with Blake Fitch earning 6 of those points until the score was 29-14 with three minutes remaining in the half. The Mustangs would come back to bring the game to 29-22 at halftime.
Unioto would again take the lead after halftime, winning the third quarter 14-11 to bring the score to 43-34 going into the final quarter. The fourth quarter saw more defense and a final score of 51-43.
Along with Hoops and Schobelock’s 13 points, Ashton Crase and KB Perkins each had 9 for the Tanks. Westfall was led by Brody Clark and Joe Wray, who had 13 and 11 points respectively.
Unioto now stand (3-1/5-5), while Westfall is (3-1/7-3).
