Jackson Cruises To Big Win Over Granville

The Jackson Ironmen once again dominated their opponent on both sides of the football in their 41-7 Regional Quarterfinal win over Granville Friday, to advance to the Regional Semis next week against Bishop Waterson.

The Ironmen racked up 271 total yards, with 242 on the ground. Running back Cade Wolford led the charge with 118 yards rushing on 26 carries, scoring four touchdowns.

Granville was held to 163 total yards and only rushing.

Linebacker Brayden Powell of Jackson was named McDonald’s “Player of the Game” for his stellar defensive play.
