Marietta Road Sewer Line Work to Impact Chillicothe Traffic

(Chillicothe) – Chillicothe City Utilities Director, Brad Long, is announcing upcoming Sanitary Sewer Lining Work, affecting Marietta Road. Crews will start work on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 6:30am and continue until completed on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 6pm. 

Once work begins, additional closures may be necessary and will be announced as they occur.  Expect lane closures and traffic disruptions in the following areas.   

1. Marietta Road westbound lanes to Bridge Street, with the garden and truck entrance to Lowes closed.
2. Marietta Road stub-end adjacent to Applebee’s back entrance on the north side of the restaurant, which will be closed.  The southeast egress to Bridge Street will remain open.

Please use caution and watch for both construction vehicles and workers.  Motorists are asked to use an alternate route and/or entrance/exit to local businesses.
