The (10-4) Ohio Bobcats ended the 2022 season with an overtime 30-27 Arizona Bowl Championship win over (7-6) Wyoming Friday in Tuscon.
The Bobcats found themselves trailing after five different Cowboys scores during the game, but kept fighting back. Trailing 24-21, Ohio got a game-tying field goal from Nathanial Vakos with 4 seconds remaining in regulation, that sent the game to overtime.
Wyoming took the lead back at 27-24 on a field goal with the first possession in the overtime, only to see the Bobcats get a walk-off touchdown to win the game when quarterback C.J. Harris found receiver Tyler Foster for an incredible catch on a 10 yard pass, to win the game 30-27.
Harris threw 20/33 for 184 yards and two scores, while Sieh Bangura ran for 138 yards and scored on a 3-yard run.
Ohio compiled 385 total yards to 291 for Wyoming.
