(Chillicothe) – Fluor-BWXT is partnering with several Ross County organizations to help make a difference in the community with more than $10,000 in donations.

“Ross County is home to some incredible organizations that are doing great work providing new opportunities and also assistance to enrich the lives of those who live there,” said FBP President and CEO Greg Wilkett. “These donations cover a wide range of important work needed in Ross County.”

The Assistance House of Ross County received $2,000 to continue their mission to provide temporary and emergency assistance to low-income working citizens.

“Our aim is to help working people maintain self-sufficiency by giving a helping hand when needed,” said Debbi Nunziato. “Donations like this from Fluor-BWXT will help us fill more requests for assistance with rent, utilities, and other important needs in our community.”

This year, FBP has joined with the Pump House Center for the Arts as the sponsor for the Celebrating Youth Artist event as part of the organization’s Juneteenth Celebration. Ross County students in fourth through eighth grades are invited to compete in the exhibit. The winners will be awarded cash prizes and one school will receive a donation for their art department.

Also receiving donations for their community outreach programs, the Chillicothe Paints, Cheryl’s House of Hope, and the Ross County Humane Society.
