The organizers of the Salt Creek Valley Festival are changing it up a bit from previous years.
After having no festival due to the pandemic in 2020, this year’s event will be an abbreviated festival.
In a statement on its Facebook page, the committee has chosen a conservative approach considering COVID-19 still being active. Organizers are opting for a Community Block Party on September 11 in downtown Richmond Dale instead.
“We will be having entertainment beginning in the afternoon along with a Community Yard Sale starting at 9 am and our local Church’s will be offering food” the statement added.
The headliner for entertainment will be The Wegians at 6pm.
