(Scioto County) – Discover the perfect blend of relaxation and nature immersion at Shawnee State Park’s Nature Wellness Weekend, set to take place from April 19-21. Unwind your mind, rejuvenate your body, and reconnect with nature through a variety of low-impact activities.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Parks and Watercraft co-sponsors the event with Shawnee State Park Lodge and Friends of Shawnee State Park, Inc. This tranquil weekend will offer a variety of sessions which are proven to heal the mind, body, and spirit.

Participants can choose from a range of activities, including sun printing, nature journaling, tree hugging, wild edible plant identification, and more.
The cost for the all-inclusive weekend package, covering registration, lodging for two nights, meals, and activities is $495-563 per person for a single occupancy and $323-357 per person for a double occupancy at the Shawnee Lodge and Conference Center. If you prefer to camp and prepare your own meals, the registration fee is $50 plus camping fee. Find campsites at the Ohio River or Turkey Creek campgrounds by going to reserveohio.com.
