(Portsmouth) – The Bear Tracks residential summer program for high school graduates and seniors is underway as Shawnee State University hosts the 2022 Industry Training Program, a three-week summer program funded by the GRIT Project (see gritohio.org).
During the month of June, Bear Tracks is assisting more than 50 local young people from Scioto and nearby counties in developing workforce skills to obtain jobs in their careers of interest.
Those students who complete these programs will also develop a quality professional resume and learn job interviewing skills.
A career fair will be held on Tuesday, June 21, from 4-7 p.m. on the campus of Shawnee State to meet with these students to recruit them for your internship or career opportunities. Internship opportunity for each student who completes this program are being sought.
