Jackson, Vinton and Athens counties were Level 3 until Tuesday morning due to heavy ice accumulation, back were being backed down to Level 2 by mid-morning. Ross, Pike and Pickaway counties were Level 2 overnight into Tuesday morning.

Area road conditions were mostly snow covered with some ice beneath the few inches of snow that remained after snow plows made their rounds.

Temperatures are expected to remain cold Tuesday with night time lows in the single digits and wind chills below zero at night.
