The Unioto Shermans are SVC Boys Golf Champs- again. In fact, for a conference record 23rd time in the 30 year history of SVC Boys Golf. It is the 6th straight time the Shermans have claimed the title, dating back to 2017.
Thursday saw Matches #6 and #7 being held at the Portsmouth Elks Club Course, which leaves the Match #8 final round at Jaycees on September 21st. The 10 point conference lead that the Shermans hold over Zane Trace, hands the title to Unioto.
Unioto won both matches at Portsmouth with team scores of 171 on the Front 9 and 173 on the Back 9. Medalist honors for the Front 9 was Piketon’s Owen Armstrong with a 40 and Charlie Lewis of Unioto won the Back 9 with a 40.
