Volunteer Fire Assistance Grant Applications Now Being Accepted

(Columbus) – Applications for the 2023 Volunteer Fire Assistance (VFA) Grant are now being accepted, with the grant deadline being January 15th, 2024.

The VFA program offers 50/50 matching grants to cooperating fire departments for PPE, supplies, MARCs communication devices, and equipment. The main focus of this grant is to help FDs that serve rural communities in Ohio build capacity.

The maximum grant award is $10,000.
