The Village of Waverly has a new police chief. John Winfield was sworn-in to that post Tuesday, following approval by Waverly Village Council.
He was sworn-in as the new chief by Mayor Greg Kempton, as pictured above.
Winfield had been serving as Interim Police Chief since May 14th after former Police Chief Zach Dixon resigned.
Winfield is a former Ross County Sheriff Deputy.
