Logan Elm held a 31-20 margin lead early in the third period, which led to Unioto applying an intense full-court pressure the rest of the game. Unioto cut the deficit to 45-40 after three quarters and grabbed a rare lead at 48-47. The Shermans held a 56-53 lead with 1:02 remaining in the contest, and later 57-54, before the Braves closed on a 4-0 finish- capped off by a go-ahead bucket by Braves junior Nemiah Waugh with one second to play for a 58-57 lead.
