A partnership between Ohio Christian University and the Pickaway County Library is providing tutoring services to the community.

The tutors are college students who are willing to work with students in kindergarten through grade 12 in reading, math, English, history and science. There is no cost to the students who receive the tutoring.

The tutors from OCU work 10 to 20 hours per week through the Federal Work-Study Program. This gives the OCU students work experience, and it provides families another resource to encourage their students. This tutoring partnership started in 2015.

Currently, tutoring sessions are conducted on Zoom. Appointments can be made by contacting the Pickaway County Library’s Youth Services Department at 740-477-1644 x 236. Appointments are available most afternoons and some weekends.
