Each year, the Cincinnati Reds send out clinicians to work with local coaches to conduct clinics on the fundamentals of baseball/softball to youngsters, while also teaching life lessons about teamwork.
REDS CAMPS was in Chillicothe this week, working with approximately 50 youngsters through high school age at Unioto High School. The CAMP also included hauling all the campers to Cincinnati on Thursday, where they had the opportunity to tour Great American Ballpark’s field, dugouts and other stadium surroundings.
REDS CAMP Clinician, Ross Lunsford, spoke with Litter Media’s Mike Smith on what they try to accomplish in the week-long camp:

Lunsford, who played college baseball for Bowling Green State University, says tentative plans are to return to Chillicothe next summer.
Had a great week with the Cincinnati Reds camp workers and with Tim and Ross the Reds camp instructors. They put on a smooth running camp with many baseball/softball drills. Can’t wait to have them back soon.
