(COLUMBUS)—Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has made the following appointments:
Lee Ann Schrader of Washington Court House (Fayette Co.) has been appointed to the Ohio Livestock Care Standards Board for a term beginning April 16, 2021, and ending January 15, 2024.
Sarah Ladipo of Pickerington (Fairfield Co.) has been appointed to serve as a student member on the Ohio University Board of Trustees for a term beginning May 14, 2021, and ending May 13, 2023.
Brent L. Currence of Carroll (Fairfield Co.) has been reappointed to the Ohio AMBER Alert Advisory Committee for a term beginning April 16, 2021, and ending February 6, 2023.
Elwin C. Robison of Kent (Portage Co.) has been reappointed to the Ohio Historic Site Preservation Advisory Board for a term beginning April 16, 2021, and ending January 14, 2024.
Peter J. Gibson of Upper Arlington (Franklin Co.) has been appointed to the Industrial Commission Nominating Council for a term beginning April 14, 2021, and ending October 20, 2021.
William G. Brantingham of Winona (Columbiana Co.) has been reappointed to the State Emergency Response Commission for a term beginning April 16, 2021, and ending January 13, 2023.
David K. Whiting of Grove City (Franklin Co.) has been reappointed to the State Emergency Response Commission for a term beginning April 16, 2021, and ending January 13, 2023.
Gregory A. Moon of Upper Sandusky (Wyandot Co.) has been reappointed to the Marion Technical College Board of Trustees for a term beginning April 30, 2021, and ending April 29, 2024.
Paul J. Dolan of Chagrin Falls (Geauga Co.) has been appointed to the Cleveland State University Board of Trustees for a term beginning June 1, 2021, and ending May 1, 2030.
The Fayette County Fair opened Sunday and runs through Saturday July 25th, 2020 in Washington Court House.
The Fair’s grandstand entertainment includes a rodeo Monday at 7pm, NTPA Truck and Tractor Pull Tuesday at 7pm, OCRA Harness Racing at 4:30pm Wednesday, McGuffey Lane at 7pm Thursday, Stock Truck Pull Friday at 6pm and Smash-It Demolition Derby Saturday at 7pm.
The Junior Fair Livestock Sale begins at 9am Saturday.
Admission is $6 and amusement rides run each day from 1pm-11am.
The fairgrounds are accessible via the US 22 exit from US 35.
Fayette County is coded Yellow by the Ohio Public Health Advisory System, meaning Level 1 Public Emergency: Active exposure and spread of COVID-19. As of 2pm Monday, the Fayette County Department of Health reported 65 total cases of COVID-19 countywide including six active cases with 59 recovered.
